This program is idea for the high school student who is interested in nursing. The occupational outcome is a long term care certified nursing aide qualified to work in hospitals, clinics, and long term care facilities. Students will also obtain their Home Healthcare Nursing Assistant certification. This program also gives the completer the opportunity to gain advanced standing credit in the Licensed Practical Nurse career major. Students 18 years and older must have an OSBI background check.

  • Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is an international student organization for high school and adult students that promotes career opportunities in the healthcare industry to enhance the delivery of quality healthcare to all people. HOSA provides opportunities for students to enhance their personal and leadership qualities through individual and group projects and through skill competitions which are held on local, state, and national levels.
