Tuition Scholarship
This scholarship provides tuition-free instruction to an in-district high school graduate meeting the established criteria. The intent of this program is to encourage a student to:
- receive a completion certificate in a WWTC career option
- continue education in a technical field after high school graduation or equivalent
- pursue an associates degree in technical education
- master advanced curriculum to enhance employability
To receive a WWTC scholarship, the student must provide to the financial aid office a copy of their high school diploma indicating graduation from a WWTC partner school approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Education or high school equivalency diploma and proof of their in-district status.
The criteria for selecting recipients from the group of eligible applicants is based upon the tuition scholarship policy. In-district high school graduates from a WWTC partner school or students wo received their high school equivalency diploma while in-district can receive up to a $2,500 tuition scholarship towards tuition for the completion of one career option in a full-time program. Students can use the scholarship until their 22nd birthday. All students who meet the eligibility requirements receive the scholarship.
