The Medical Office Specialist program prepares students for an administrative role in a medical setting. Students will learn essential skills in medical office procedures, patient scheduling, medical billing and coding, electronic health records (EHR) systems, patient communication, medical ethics, and legal compliance. Through practical exercises and real-world scenarios, students will develop the necessary skills to effectively manage the front office operations of a medical facility, ensuring smooth administrative processes and positive patient experiences.

  • Business Professionals of America (BPA) is a service organization for high school and adult students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology, and other related career fields. BPA provides opportunities for students to enhance their personal and leadership qualities through individual and group projects and through skill competitions which are held on local, state, and national levels.

Four certification logos: Microsoft Office Specialist for Word, Microsoft Office Specialist for Excel, Medical Office Assistant (NCMOA), and Business Professionals of America.
