Students must take the enrollment tests prior to enrolling in a program. Practical Nursing and Surgical Technology students will use Accuplacer.
All other students will use the WorkKeys curriculum.

WorkKeys is a job skills assessment system measuring "real world" skills that employers believe are critical to job success.
These skills are valuable for any occupation, skilled or professional, and at any level of education.

The Career Ability Placement Survey (CAPS) provides information about a student's abilities to help him or her with career planning.
The CAPS is a series of tests which will help the student understand potential strengths. It provides a prediction of success in specific careers.

Customized for Oklahoma, the OK Career Guide is an Internet-based delivery system for a wider audience than the predecessor (OkCIS).
The opportunities that this system will offer for successful career planning are:

Setting career goals
Developing individual career plans
Creating personal portfolios and e-portfolios to aid in job searching
Taking assessments that link interest, skills, and values to careers
Taking practice tests (ACT/SAT)
Exploring careers, including military occupations

Students are given a Learning Styles Inventory during the enrollment process. The staff at WWTC feels that it is very important to identify the learning styles of students early during the course of his or her plan of study to ensure proper delivery of curriculum for mastery of skill level.
