Digital Media Production

In the Digital Media Production program, students will learn the fundamentals of photography, including camera operation, composition, lighting, and post-production editing. They will also explore videography techniques, including camera angles, framing, storytelling, camera movement, and video editing. Additionally, students will be introduced to drone technology and aerial media production, learning safe and responsible drone operation, flight planning, and techniques for capturing compelling aerial photography and video. Students will gain an understanding of FAA Part 107 regulations and the requirements for operating drones for commercial purposes, providing a foundation for pursuing an FAA Remote Pilot License. Students will gain hands-on experience with professional photography, videography, and drone equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting gear, drones, and editing software. Through practical assignments and projects, students will develop skills in capturing, editing, and producing professional-quality digital media while bringing their creative ideas to life. By the end of the program, students will have a strong foundation in digital media production with experience in photography, videography, post-production, and aerial media production.

  • Business Professionals of America (BPA) is a service organization for high school and adult students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology, and other related career fields. BPA provides opportunities for students to enhance their personal and leadership qualities through individual and group projects and through skill competitions which are held on local, state, and national levels.
