After contacting us about your interest in the course, an application will be sent to you via email requesting the following information:
Return the completed application via email to Lori Woods at lwoods@wwtech.edu as an attachment. You will receive log-in information within 1-5 business days after we receive your application.
Once you receive your log-in information, you will complete the online course and take the online exam. Students who take and pass the written exam at WWTC are able to schedule their driving the same evening.
During the course you will need to take the CDL written test at a driver’s license examination station and obtain a learners permit in order to do the driving portion of the course. Driving time will be ten (10) hours. You must present your permit to the instructor before driving. The permit is good for one year.
You will schedule your State School Bus Driver test upon completion of the course. You must provide a bus and have a licensed school bus driver with you for the drive to the testing site.

Note: If your bus license has been expired for more than one (1) year you must take an online renewal class. The online class is a 10 credit hour course with a physical drive. The cost of the class is $140.
