Basic Welder
This program prepares students to use manual shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding in welding of heavy steel structures. Students also learn manual oxyfuel and plasma arc cutting, as well as computer programmed plasma arc cutting, weld quality, and weld joint design/fit up. he entire 525 hours of the Basic Welder program will transfer into the 1050 hour Combination Welder program.
